"Creating an accent wall – using a color to paint one or more walls differently from the other walls in your nursery – can add interest and excitement to your baby’s room. If this is your preference, I recommend you accent the wall behind the crib. An accent wall works best if it enhances the natural focal point of the room – which in your nursery is most likely the crib.

"Alternatively, use the Stairstep accent color in combination with the Tavern Buff primary wall color that I selected for top and bottom colors. This can work most effectively if your nursery has a chair rail, painted the Intimate White trim color that I selected, to divide the colors. Or use a coordinating wall border along the middle of your walls to divide the colors. Which colors go on top and bottom is a matter of personal preference. Don’t be nervous. Have fun!
