Gateway Gate by Kidco

For the second time in as many times as it has been rated, the pressure mount system used on the Gateway has been given a top rating by a recognized consumer reporting organization. The Gateway installs quickly without damage to woodwork, due to its four non-skid mounting pads. No tools or hardware are needed.

A special gauge included with the gate tests for recommended pressure. This ensures the gate is securely installed, yet allows an adult to easily release the handle using one hand. The gate door opens in either direction while the frame remains firmly installed. Constructed of lightweight, solid steel and protected with a white non-toxic coating, the Gateway provides the strength and security that every parent expects.

The Gateway stands 29 1/2" high and is designed for openings 30" to 36" wide. An optional gate extension kit extends the Gateway to fit openings up to 41 1/2".

This gate is not for use at the top of stairs - hardware-mounted gates are required for such applications.
